Hurricane Café Restauranteur, Scott Philip, Partners in New Venture, Fresh Nation

As long-time owner and chef of Hurricane Café in Juno Beach, Scott Philip had been searching for a way to bring his commitment to high quality and value to the community in a way that would combine delicious flavor, nutrition and convenience. Observing current trends and the needs of today’s busy consumers, he wanted to create a unique alternative for active, health-minded diners.

Meanwhile, Scott’s friend and owner of Loggerhead Fitness, Rick Opton, after years of watching gym goers struggle with balancing fitness and diet, had a burning desire to open a similar concept nearby that would serve his clientele and beyond. The opportunity presented itself when the 2,000-square-foot space next to his gym became available. Like-minded Chef Wayne Howey and Dietitian Stephanie Brust brought complimentary talent and skills to the table. And Fresh Nation was born.

Fresh Nation is far more than a healthy eatery. It’s about a lifestyle of Fresh. That means clean… no processed food, chemicals or preservatives… only exceptional ingredients. It means professionals who can help you meet your health goals. It means no worries when you don’t have time to cook. Oh, and did we mention that the food tastes amazing? Because we don’t just want you to eat it, we want you to love it. That’s why we call it “Delicious with a purpose.”

Pending final permitting, Fresh Nation hopes to open its doors on Wednesday, February 1st. Initial hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with plans to expand into dinner service within a month or so. Beer and wine service, home delivery and catering are all planned down the road as well. Fresh Nation is located in Plaza La Mer at 891 Donald Ross Road, Juno Beach, FL 33408 (at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Donald Ross Road) and their phone number is (561) 318-5371.
